Ingredients (Serves 2):

  • Fresh green lettuce – 6–8 large leaves (washed & chopped)

  • Roasted peanuts – ¼ cup

  • Onion – 1 small (finely chopped)

  • Tomato – 1 small (chopped)

  • Green chili – 1 (finely chopped, optional)

  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp

  • Chaat masala – ½ tsp

  • Salt – to taste

  • Fresh coriander – a handful (chopped)

  • Sev (crunchy chickpea noodles) – for topping (optional)

Method:

  • Prep the Base:

    • Tear or chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.

    • Place in a mixing bowl.

  • Mix the Ingredients:

    • Add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chili, and roasted peanuts to the bowl.

  • Season:

    • Sprinkle salt and chaat masala.

    • Add lemon juice and mix gently.

  • Garnish & Serve:

    • Top with coriander and sev just before serving for extra crunch.
