Dried Lentil Dumplings from Prakrutimaa are a traditional Indian delicacy made from lentils like Urad, Moong dal, Ash Gourd, different seeds, spices, and mushrooms. Hand-made and sun-dried by village people in Odisha, these Badi are a beloved side dish across India, especially in West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh. Popularly known as Badi Chura, they are prepared by frying or roasting the Badi, adding salt, spices, onion, garlic, green chilly, and crushing them with Sil Batta or grinding with a grinder.
