 Ingredients (Serves 2):

 

  • Boiled sweet corn kernels – 1½ cups

  • Onion – 1 small, finely chopped

  • Tomato – 1 small, finely chopped (deseeded)

  • Green chili – 1, finely chopped (optional)

  • Fresh coriander leaves – 2 tbsp, finely chopped

  • Chaat masala – ½ tsp

  • Red chili powder – ¼ tsp

  • Roasted cumin powder – ½ tsp

  • Black salt – ¼ tsp

  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp (adjust to taste)

  • Butter or ghee – 1 tsp (optional, for sautéing)

  • Sev or pomegranate seeds – for garnish (optional)

 

 Method:

 

Prep:

  • Boil sweet corn kernels till soft (or microwave with little water for 2–3 mins).

  • Drain and keep warm.

Mix It Up:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine warm corn, onion, tomato, and green chili.

  • Add chaat masala, chili powder, cumin powder, black salt, and lemon juice.

  • Mix well until evenly coated.

Toss with Butter (optional):

  • For extra flavor, heat 1 tsp butter/ghee in a pan, add the corn mix, toss for 1 minute, and remove.

Garnish:

  • Top with coriander leaves, sev, or pomegranate seeds for crunch and color.
