Recipe: Kachi Haldi Doodh (Raw Turmeric Milk)
Ingredients:
1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
1 tsp grated raw turmeric
1/2 tsp grated ginger (optional)
1 pinch black pepper powder
1 tsp jaggery or honey (to taste)
1/2 tsp ghee (optional for richness)
Method:
Heat Milk: Pour milk into a saucepan and bring it to a low boil.
Add Ingredients: Add grated raw turmeric, ginger, and black pepper. Simmer for 5–7 minutes on low heat to infuse the flavors.
Sweeten: Turn off the heat and add jaggery or honey. Stir well until dissolved. (If using honey, let the milk cool slightly before adding.)
