Pomegranate Raita (Anar ka Raita)
Serves 2–3

Ingredients:

Fresh curd (yogurt) – 1 cup (whisked smooth)
Pomegranate seeds – ½ cup
Roasted cumin powder – ½ tsp
Black salt – ¼ tsp
Salt – to taste
Chopped mint or coriander – 1 tbsp (optional)
Red chili powder – a pinch (optional)

Method:

Prepare the Curd:
Whisk the curd until smooth and creamy in a bowl.

Add the Flavors:
Add roasted cumin powder, black salt, regular salt, and red chili powder (if using). Mix well.

Mix in the Pomegranate:
Add fresh pomegranate seeds and stir gently.

Garnish and Chill:
Top with chopped mint or coriander. Chill for 15–20 minutes before serving.
