How to make Gajar ka Halwa – rich, creamy Indian carrot dessert (Winter Special)
 
Ingredients:
Orange Carrot (Narangi Gajar) – 500g (from Bhole Fruits and Vegetable for ₹37)
Full-cream milk – 500 ml
Sugar – 4 tbsp (adjust to taste)
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
Cashews, almonds, raisins – optional

Method:
Wash, peel, and grate the carrots.
Heat ghee in a thick-bottomed kadhai.
Add grated carrots and sauté for 4–5 minutes.
Pour in milk and cook on medium flame, stirring occasionally, until the milk reduces completely.
Add sugar and continue stirring until the halwa thickens.
Add cardamom powder and dry fruits. Stir well and cook for 2–3 more minutes.
 
Pairs With: Can be served hot or chilled as a dessert.
