1. Jamun Raita (Black Plum Yogurt Dip)
Serves 2–3

Ingredients:

  • Ripe black jamun – 1 cup (deseeded and chopped)

  • Thick curd (yogurt) – 1 cup (whisked)

  • Roasted cumin powder – ½ tsp

  • Black salt – ¼ tsp

  • Regular salt – to taste

  • Green chili – 1 (finely chopped, optional)

  • Mint leaves – for garnish

Method:

  • Mash half of the jamuns to a pulp and keep the rest chopped.

  • In a bowl, mix curd, both types of salt, cumin powder, and green chili.

  • Add mashed and chopped jamun. Stir gently.

  • Garnish with mint and serve chilled.
