Farmerette Sprouted Ragi Milk Powder - 50g

Sprouted ragi milk powder is a smooth powder made from the milk extracted from soaked ragi. Ragi is called nachni in Marathi, mandua in Hindi, kezhvaragu in Tamil and finger millet in English. Ragi milk is traditionally made at home by soaking and sprouting the grain, grinding it with water and straining it. This powder saves those steps and is ready to use. Stir a spoonful into warm milk or water with a little jaggery or palm sugar to make ragi malt, or cook it briefly into a smooth porridge or kanji. It can also be mixed into smoothies, halwa, kheer, pancakes and baked goods to add the mild, earthy flavour of ragi. Many families use ragi porridge as a breakfast for children and elders.
