Mandya jaggery had its own importance and name from generation to generation. Mandya jaggery was spread from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. But these days the jaggery production sector is in dire straits. The reason for this is the use of excessive chemicals used in jaggery production and the manufacturing method. We have started an organization called, Mandya Jaggery Farmer Producer Company. To bring back the name of Mandya Jaggery and to produce and sell chemical free organic jaggery encourage chemical free organic farming. This is a company founded and run by farmers, for farmers.
