Kala Tikhat Masala (black spicy masala) 500 g - a traditional Maharashtrian spice blend hand-made in small batches by the women of Jaydevi Mahila Self Help Group (Jagdevi Masale, a UMED / MSRLM group) at Manjargaon, Taluka Karmala, District Solapur, sold under the Solapur UMED 'Rukmini's' label. Ingredients as printed on the pack: coriander seeds, dry coconut, sesame, poppy seeds, black chilli, asafoetida and other whole raw spices, dry-roasted and finely ground. No artificial colours or preservatives. Use in bhaji, usal, curries and gravies for the smoky Solapur-style heat. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from moisture.
